Introduction to R & S Cabinets
When you first come to our showroom we will give you a tour of the products we offer. We'll give you an introduction to our process and what steps you can expect to get to the final product.
Share your vision
Your on center stage. You get to share your project with us. The scope of the project, goals, likes and dislikes of your current space, initial project budget, any ideas you might have researched will help us define your style, needs and place you in the best product.
Style, Color and Wood Selections
We will use any homework you have brought with you to help direct us to a style and color for you cabinets. Your budget will play a role in determining the level of cabinet. Cabinets are built to fit into differening price levels. Many factors will lead to the price levels, including quality of finish, number of door styles and colors offered, the customization that is available, and the types of woods that are offered. We have a range of differnt woods to choose from. The more common woods are oak, maple and cherry. We also have pine and walnut, but the options are endless. The door style options are also endless. A couple of our manufacrers are semi-custom cabinet manufactures, but we also have full custom available.
Appliance Selection.
We can help you with your appliance selections here, or we can use the specifications chosen from another supplier. The appliance specs are central to the layout of the kitchen and will be needed to complete our future steps, including the CAD drawing of your project.
Countertop Selection
We typically use the selection of cabinet style and color to help with the selection of countertops. We have a great selection of countertops to choose from. Our designers can help you with this selection from our products or you can select your own from other sources.
Hardware and Plumbing Selections
The final selection we help you decide will be the plumbing products, sinks and faucets, and the door hardware. All of these items are ment to coordinate with the previous selections. The syle of your cabinet selections, the color and material in your appliances all play a role in the hardware and plumbing selections. We will help pull them all together.
